Lidar flight surveys

At Cedar Creek Speleological Survey we preform exclusive LIDAR flight surveys using small aircraft and drones. LIDAR uses laser pulses that penetrate the tree coverage to map the ground below, much like sonar in the water. These LIDAR flight surveys are focused on countries in Latin America and other nations around the world with little LIDAR coverage. This new LIDAR data can also be used for other things like ecology and humanitarian efforts.
